Vanilla Vla Filling for Pastry Puff

250 ml milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 yellow egg.
1+1/2 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved w/ a little bit of water.
2 tbsp rum (substitute: 1 tsp vanilla extract)

-Put milk, sugar, and cornstarch in a sauce pan.
-Cook on top of medium heat for 15 minutes, stir continuously.
(if you don't, it will form skin on top and crust underneath)
-Lower the heat to low and continue cooking until it boils (meletup2) and thicken, still stirring it constantly.
-Remove from heat and add rum/vanilla extract.
-Filled the pastry puffs with vla when it's cooled.
