A recipe from my aunt. Thanks auntie.
Ingredients:
1 cucumber, julienned medium size
1 carrot, julienned medium size
1 cup chopped cabbage
1 cup cut green bean
1-2 chopped red chili (remove the seed if you don't like spicy)
1-2 tbsp vinegar
a little salt
a lot of sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
Pasted ingredients:
1 big shallot
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 candle nuts
1 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Combine all pasted ingredients in a small food processor and process until smooth. Saute the pasted ingredients with olive oil.
Add vinegar, salt, and sugar; stir well. Adjust the flavor, it should be a balance of sweet and sour. Add carrot first; cook until half-way done. Add green bean, cucumber, and red chili. Lastly, add cabbage. Cook until the vegetables are soften but not mushy.
Bahan:
1 buah timun, potong2 sebesar korek api
1 buah wortel, potong2 sebesar korek api
kol secukupnya
buncis secukupnya
1-2 cabe merah, chopped
cuka secukupnya
garam sedikit
gula banyak
Bumbu halus:
1 siung besar bw merah
2 siung bw putih
1/2 sdt kunyit bubuk
2 butir kemiri
Cara memasak:
-Tumis bumbu halus sampai harum
-Masukan cuka, garam, gula; cicipi sampai rasanya pas
-Masukan wortel, masak sebentar
-Masukan buncis dan timun, masak sebentar
-Masukan kol.
-Masak sampai sayur layu tapi tidak terlalu lembek
